Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to bend, sit, or stand for prolonged periods
- ability to lift, pull, push, or move up to 40lbs
- willingness to work part-time, 20 hours per week
- willingness to learn POS systems

Job Qualifications

- excellent verbal communication skills
- a background in food and/or retail service encouraged but not required
- the ability to prioritize, organize, and multi-task
- basic computer skills and/or capacity to learn and be competent in technology
- the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be on your feet for extended periods of time
Job Duties
- Exhibit excellent guest service
- be required to complete all necessary training as provided by management/trainers
- operate POS system including cash, credit, and gift card handling
- safely handle equipment and tools provided
- brew coffee
- make various specialty drinks accordingly with recipe book
- perform opening and closing side-work
- continue to develop drink, food, and retail knowledge
- receive and price merchandise as it arrives checking for accuracy and damages against invoices or packing slips
- maintain the cafe and bookstore to meet quality and health standards
