Job Requirements
- maintain reliable and punctual attendance for scheduled shifts
- be flexible and responsive to store scheduling needs including weekends and holidays
- perform physical activities such as prolonged standing, bending, lifting, and walking
- comply with all company policies and procedures
- demonstrate supportive and considerate behavior towards colleagues
- provide friendly and helpful customer interactions consistently
- willingness to learn and develop barista skills
- ability to work in multiple store locations if required
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in a cafe or customer service environment preferred but not required
- ability to work well in a fast-paced team setting
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- positive and energetic attitude
- aptitude for learning new skills and technology
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Job Duties
- welcome customers cheerfully and assist them with their beverage and cafe item choices
- maintain attractive presentation and cleanliness of the cafe and bake case
- efficiently operate registers and provide professional customer service
- unpack and stock deliveries accurately
- prepare food and drinks according to recipes and quality standards
- adhere to first-in-first-out inventory practices
- support bookstore floor team as needed
- follow safety, loss prevention, and de-escalation procedures
