Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a customer-facing or cafe role preferred
- Ability to learn and operate point-of-sale systems
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and develop skills
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene
Job Duties
- Welcome customers cheerfully and assist with beverage and cafe item selection
- Maintain attractive presentation and cleanliness of the cafe
- Operate registers quickly and professionally
- Unpack and stock deliveries accurately
- Follow FIFO practices and date products correctly
- Make food and drinks accurately and efficiently according to recipes
- Support bookfloor team when needed
- Comply with loss prevention and safety procedures
- Use technology including registers and tablets efficiently
- Execute daily and weekly cleaning tasks
- Provide customization recommendations to customers
