Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a customer service or cafe role advantageous
- Ability to operate cash registers and POS systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Capacity to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Willingness to learn and develop barista skills
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
Job Duties
- Welcome customers cheerfully and assist them with beverage and cafe item selections
- Maintain the attractive presentation and cleanliness of the cafe area and display cases
- Operate registers efficiently to provide quick and friendly service
- Support receiving, unpacking, and stocking of deliveries accurately
- Prepare food and drinks following recipes and quality standards
- Execute daily and weekly cleaning tasks to maintain cafe hygiene
- Assist bookfloor team and support loss prevention and de-escalation procedures
