Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in food service or cafe environments advantageous
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to operate registers and use technology effectively
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Willingness to learn and develop barista skills
Job Duties
- Welcome customers cheerfully and assist with beverage and cafe item selection
- Maintain cafe presentation and cleanliness, including bake case and dining area
- Operate registers efficiently ensuring professional customer service
- Unpack and stock deliveries accurately and efficiently
- Prepare food and drinks following recipes and quality standards
- Follow first in first out (FIFO) inventory and product dating procedures
- Support bookfloor team when needed and adhere to loss prevention and de-escalation procedures
