Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a customer service or cafe role preferred
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods and perform physical tasks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic proficiency with technology including registers and tablets
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively in a team environment
Job Duties
- Welcome and connect with customers in a cheerful and helpful manner
- Operate registers quickly and efficiently ensuring professional service
- Maintain attractive presentation and cleanliness of the cafe
- Unpack and stock deliveries accurately and efficiently
- Prepare food and beverages correctly using recipes and guidelines
- Support receiving and stocking of cafe products
- Follow FIFO practices and maintain product dating
- Support bookfloor team when needed
- Understand and execute loss prevention and de-escalation techniques
- Maintain cafe cleanliness through daily and weekly tasks
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
