Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Prepare or serve hot or cold beverages such as coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees, or teas
  • clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment throughout the day
  • clean and sanitize service or seating areas
  • check temperatures of freezers, refrigerators, or heating equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety
  • describe menu items to customers or suggest products that might appeal to them
  • provide customers with product details such as coffee blend or preparation descriptions
  • receive and process customer payments
  • prepare and serve foods such as muffins, bagels, sandwiches, salads, and more
  • stock customer service stations with paper products or beverage preparation items
  • take out garbage throughout hours of operation as needed
  • label and date dot all food items when prepped for guest consumption
  • demonstrate the use of retail equipment such as espresso machines, coffee and tea brewers, and TurboChef oven
  • set up or restock product displays
