Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in customer service or food and beverage industry preferred
- strong communication skills
- basic math skills for handling transactions
- ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- available to work day or swing shifts
- reliable and punctual
- must comply with all Point Place Casino policies and New York State Liquor Authority laws
Job Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- ability to speak English
- previous bartending or barista experience
- previous food and beverage or guest service experience is a plus
- ability to operate a point of sale system
- ability to count money and make correct change
- ability to stand and walk for long periods
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Job Duties
- Prepare various coffee drinks and food items according to the recipe and standards
- demonstrate exceptional guest service skills when selling food and beverage items to guests or employees and inform guests of casino facilities and their location
- continually operate cash register and accept payment for food and beverage products ensuring accuracy when making change
- always be extremely responsive to guest's questions regarding food items, prices, methods of preparation, items on sale and availability of various food and beverage products
- consistently adhere to all Point Place Casino policies and New York State Liquor Authority laws
