Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in bartending or barista roles preferred
- Proven ability to operate cash registers and Point of Sale systems
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Basic math skills for handling cash
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Availability to work part-time on day and swing shifts
- Commitment to adhere to company policies and state laws
Job Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to speak English
- Previous bartending or barista experience is a plus
- Previous food and beverage or guest service experience preferred
- Ability to operate Point of Sale system for order entry and payment processing
- Ability to count money accurately and make correct change
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to work flexible shifts including day and swing shifts
Job Duties
- Prepare various coffee drink and food items according to the recipe and standards
- Demonstrate exceptional guest service skills when selling food and beverage items to guests or employees and inform guests of casino facilities and their location
- Continually operate cash register and accept payment for food and beverage products ensuring accuracy when making change
- Respond promptly to guest questions regarding food items, prices, preparation methods, sales, and availability
- Consistently adhere to all Point Place Casino policies and New York State Liquor Authority laws
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations
