Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in bartending or barista roles preferred
- Ability to stand or walk for long periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic math skills for cash handling
- Must be able to work day or swing shifts
Job Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to speak English
- Previous bartending or barista experience is a plus
- Experience in food and beverage or guest service
- Ability to operate Point of Sale system
- Ability to count money and make correct change
Job Duties
- Prepare various coffee drink and food items according to the recipe and standards
- Demonstrate exceptional guest service skills when selling food and beverage items to guests or employees and inform guests of casino facilities and their location
- Continually operate cash register and accept payment for food and beverage products ensuring accuracy when making change
- Be extremely responsive to guest's questions regarding food items, prices, methods of preparation, items on sale and availability of various food and beverage products
- Consistently adhere to all Point Place Casino policies and New York State Liquor Authority laws
