Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in a food and beverage or guest service role preferred
  • ability to stand and walk for long periods
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • ability to speak English
  • dependable and punctual
  • capable of operating a Point of Sale system

Job Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • ability to speak English
  • previous bartending or barista experience is a plus
  • previous food and beverage or guest service experience is a plus
  • ability to ring in orders and settle checks on Point of Sale system
  • must possess ability to count money and make correct change

Job Duties

  • Prepare various coffee drink and food items according to the recipe and standards
  • demonstrate exceptional guest service skills when selling food and beverage items to guests or employees and inform guests of casino facilities and their location
  • operate cash register continually and accept payment for food and beverage products ensuring accuracy when making change
  • be responsive to guest questions regarding food items, prices, methods of preparation, sales, and availability
  • consistently adhere to all Point Place Casino policies and New York State Liquor Authority laws
