Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • ability to bend, reach, and carry items during shift

Job Qualifications

  • Prior barista or food service experience preferred, but not required
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • friendly, positive attitude with a customer-first mindset
  • basic math skills and familiarity with POS systems
  • flexible availability, including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve coffee and tea beverages in accordance with company recipes and quality standards
  • prepare sandwiches and other food items
  • stock and organize retail items
  • greet customers, take orders, and handle cash or card transactions using the point-of-sale system
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, equipment, and seating area
  • restock supplies as needed
  • follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines at all times
  • provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer needs and complaints in a professional manner
  • educate customers on the menu, making recommendations based on their preferences
  • work as part of a team to ensure smooth daily operations
  • open and or close the café according to company procedures, if assigned
  • prep and cook food items
