Job Qualifications
- Prior barista or food service experience preferred, but not required
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- friendly, positive attitude with a customer-first mindset
- basic math skills and familiarity with POS systems
- flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve coffee and tea beverages in accordance with company recipes and quality standards
- prepare sandwiches and other food items
- stock and organize retail items
- greet customers, take orders, and handle cash or card transactions using the point-of-sale system
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, equipment, and seating area
- restock supplies as needed
- follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines at all times
- provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer needs and complaints in a professional manner
- educate customers on the menu, making recommendations based on their preferences
- work as part of a team to ensure smooth daily operations
- open and or close the café according to company procedures, if assigned
- prep and cook food items
