- ability to work mornings and part-time

- basic math skills for sales and cash handling
- ability to work morning shifts and part-time hours
- knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards advantageous
- ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Greet and provide guests with prompt and courteous service that exceeds their expectations
- assist in the preparation of cafe menu items as ordered and according to procedure
- assist with breakfast room service orders
- accurately capture all sales and settlements in the cash register
- handle reconciliation of sales and payments according to standard operating procedure
- monitor freshness of food products to meet or exceed quality standards
- be knowledgeable of all cafe policies and explain them to members and guests when asked
- enforce cafe rules and policies including maintaining knowledge of SOPs, program procedures, age restrictions, and proper complaint handling
- assist in answering the telephone and take messages when necessary
- maintain an orderly and neat appearance of the register areas as well as all other areas of the store
