Job Requirements

Minimum of 6 months experience as a barista in a high-volume, fast paced coffee shop or cafe setting
Strong customer service skills
Demonstrated history of effective teamwork
Ability to work a varied schedule including weekends and holidays
Availability for early morning shifts starting between 4:00am and 7:00am

Job Duties

Greet guests and respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
Brew, sell, promote and prepare beverages according to established recipes and standards
Take guest beverage orders and accurately input orders in appropriate point-of-sale system
Maintain cleanliness of work area/outlet
Accurately total, process and collect payments from guests including using the point-of-sale system, handling money, processing credit and debit cards, making change and processing gift certificates and cards
Requisition, stock and rotate products
Secure and store all beverages, food and other equipment items
Perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards
