Job Requirements
- One year of previous barista experience required
- Ability to work Saturdays and Sundays from 5:30 am to 10:30 am
- Must be able to perform essential job functions satisfactorily with or without accommodation
- Ability to communicate courteously with customers and team members
- Must adhere to food safety standards
- Eligible to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- At least one year of previous barista experience
- Knowledge of coffee and espresso preparation
- Ability to operate POS systems
- Understanding of HACCP guidelines
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in a food service environment
Job Duties
- Prepare espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes
- Enter orders accurately into POS device
- accept cash and charge payments
- Replenish condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area
- Ensure proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures
- Follow HACCP standards
- Maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils
- Clean equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area
- Greet customers courteously and ensure customer satisfaction
- Relay relevant customer concerns to supervisors
- Serve customers quickly and efficiently
- Explain daily menu items accurately
- Advocate selling techniques through good communication
- Ensure all foods are attractively merchandised
- Perform other duties as assigned
