Job Requirements

One year of previous barista experience required
Ability to work Saturdays and Sundays from 5:30 am to 10:30 am
Must be able to perform essential job functions satisfactorily with or without accommodation
Ability to communicate courteously with customers and team members
Must adhere to food safety standards
Eligible to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

At least one year of previous barista experience
Knowledge of coffee and espresso preparation
Ability to operate POS systems
Understanding of HACCP guidelines
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in a food service environment

Job Duties

Prepare espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes
Enter orders accurately into POS device
accept cash and charge payments
Replenish condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area
Ensure proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures
Follow HACCP standards
Maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils
Clean equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area
Greet customers courteously and ensure customer satisfaction
Relay relevant customer concerns to supervisors
Serve customers quickly and efficiently
Explain daily menu items accurately
Advocate selling techniques through good communication
Ensure all foods are attractively merchandised
Perform other duties as assigned
