Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous barista or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Reliable and punctual
- Basic math skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures
Job Qualifications
- Manual espresso machine experience is preferred
- Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively
- High level customer service skills to create a friendly, welcoming atmosphere
- Basic math skills for accurate cash transactions
- Familiarity with using a POS system is preferred but not required
- Ability to work as part of a small team and support team members when needed
- Knowledge of espresso drink preparation techniques and food handling safety practices is a plus
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve Afters beverages according to our standard recipes
- Operate the Skytab POS system for order processing and cash handling
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils
- Assist with any preparation and food handling as needed, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours
- Handle cash transactions accurately, performing basic math calculations for change
