Job Requirements
- Standing for long periods of time
- Lifting up to 30lbs
- Must have holiday and weekend availability
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Willingness to practice the DLM Team Values: be honest, safe, helpful, and hard-working
- Ability to maintain a clean and sanitary workspace
Job Qualifications
- A desire to make folks happy by providing Honestly Better Food and Service
- Willingness to learn about and taste great food
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Prior coffee knowledge is a plus
- Experience in customer service is beneficial
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- 18 years or older is preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve coffee and other beverages to customers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Complete barista-level training and apply knowledge to daily tasks
- Engage with customers to provide friendly and efficient service
- Adhere to Dorothy Lane Market team values of honesty, safety, helpfulness, and hard work
- Assist in inventory management and restocking supplies
- Comply with health and safety regulations pertaining to food service
