Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 1 to 2 years' experience in food service preferred
- valid Food Handlers Card required
- ability to work varied days including Monday through Sunday
- availability for morning shifts from 5:30 am to 10:00 am
- ability to stand for extended periods
- capability to handle food safely and follow health regulations
- strong interpersonal skills
- basic math skills for cash handling
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 1 to 2 years' experience preferred in food service
- valid Food Handlers Card required
- ability to operate cash register and handle cash transactions
- strong customer service skills
- ability to maintain cleanliness and organization
- effective communication skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Greet all customers promptly and courteously
- serve foods from the serving line according to portion and appearance standards
- carve portions of meat for individual service
- cut, plate and garnish dessert items for service
- set up serving area
- replace supplies of self-service food items throughout service
- stock service area with beverages, food items, condiments and service ware
- perform cashing duties and receive payment for food and beverage items
- clean and maintain serving area, equipment and serving counters
- remove food at end of meal service and store appropriately
- document required food item tracking, temperature monitoring log or waste log track protocols
