Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • 1 to 2 years' experience in food service preferred
  • valid Food Handlers Card required
  • ability to work varied days including Monday through Sunday
  • availability for morning shifts from 5:30 am to 10:00 am
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • capability to handle food safely and follow health regulations
  • strong interpersonal skills
  • basic math skills for cash handling

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • 1 to 2 years' experience preferred in food service
  • valid Food Handlers Card required
  • ability to operate cash register and handle cash transactions
  • strong customer service skills
  • ability to maintain cleanliness and organization
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Greet all customers promptly and courteously
  • serve foods from the serving line according to portion and appearance standards
  • carve portions of meat for individual service
  • cut, plate and garnish dessert items for service
  • set up serving area
  • replace supplies of self-service food items throughout service
  • stock service area with beverages, food items, condiments and service ware
  • perform cashing duties and receive payment for food and beverage items
  • clean and maintain serving area, equipment and serving counters
  • remove food at end of meal service and store appropriately
  • document required food item tracking, temperature monitoring log or waste log track protocols
