Job Duties
- Prepare coffee shop beverages
- brew, mix and/or blend beverages according to set standards
- prepare food items according to procedures
- ensure food and beverages are handled safely and work area is clean
- operate cash register to itemize purchases and process payments including cash, checks, credit cards, gift certificates, coupons
- stock items and rotate coffee products and merchandise displays
- maintain understanding of current store programs and product locations
- understand and efficiently use check-stand and coffee shop equipment
- notify department lead or manager when supplies need ordering
- comply with company policies on security, cash handling, and product handling
- maintain clean and well-stocked department
- communicate company programs, in-store specials, and coupons to customers
- follow all PPE, safety, food safety, cleaning, and guest experience guidelines
- may be assigned tasks in other departments
- additional responsibilities as needed
