Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Prepare coffee shop beverages
  • brew, mix and/or blend beverages according to set standards
  • prepare food items according to procedures
  • ensure food and beverages are handled safely and work area is clean
  • operate cash register to itemize purchases and process payments including cash, checks, credit cards, gift certificates, coupons
  • stock items and rotate coffee products and merchandise displays
  • maintain understanding of current store programs and product locations
  • understand and efficiently use check-stand and coffee shop equipment
  • notify department lead or manager when supplies need ordering
  • comply with company policies on security, cash handling, and product handling
  • maintain clean and well-stocked department
  • communicate company programs, in-store specials, and coupons to customers
  • follow all PPE, safety, food safety, cleaning, and guest experience guidelines
  • may be assigned tasks in other departments
  • additional responsibilities as needed
