Job Requirements

- ability to stand for extended periods
- excellent customer service skills
- basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions
- ability to follow detailed instructions and health safety guidelines
- strong interpersonal skills and positive attitude
- availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Previous barista experience preferred, but not required-training will be provided
- passion for coffee and customer service with a friendly and outgoing personality
- ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- strong communication and teamwork skills
- knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, milk steaming, and latte art is a plus
- flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and holidays based on resort operations
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and specialty beverages according to Lava Love's standards
- provide friendly and efficient customer service, engaging with guests to ensure a welcoming experience
- operate coffee-making equipment, grinders, and espresso machines with precision and care
- maintain a clean and organized workspace, including counters, equipment, and dining areas
- assist with stocking, inventory management, and ordering supplies as needed
- follow health and safety regulations, ensuring food and beverage handling meets all sanitation guidelines
- accurately process transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system and handle cash and credit card payments
- promote and upsell Lava Love's menu items, including seasonal beverages, pastries, and merchandise
- assist in training new team members and contribute to a positive team culture
- support resort-wide events and initiatives, providing coffee and beverage service as needed
- other duties as assigned
