Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of 1 year of experience in specialty coffee and retail
- must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- ability to stand for extended periods
- capability to operate espresso machines and related equipment
- strong customer service skills
- effective communication skills
- ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- willingness to adhere to sanitation and safety standards
- must be a team player
Job Qualifications
- Demonstrate the ability to work cohesively with a team
- self-directed, motivated and demonstrate exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- ability to communicate effectively in the English language, both verbally and in writing
- a second language is desirable
- maintain a coachable and emotionally mature demeanor toward your teammates, management and guests
- must be familiar with the local area
- ability to transport (pull, push) up to 50 lbs
- must have at least 1 or more years of experience, with a combination of previous specialty coffee and retail experience
- luxury environment experience is preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages
- sanitize work areas and supplies
- knowledge of menu items including grab n' go food and beverages
- keep all supplies stocked and organized
- create an excellent Forbes 5-star guest experience
- receive and process payments on the POS system
- serve prepared foods as necessary
- take out garbage and recycling
- maintain bakery and grab n go cases
- operate all equipment including the espresso machine, coffee brewer and dishwasher
- perform any other job-related duties as assigned
