Job Requirements
- Food handler's card required
- Willingness to work at other locations in Chicago if needed
- Previous experience in coffee, food service, hospitality industry or customer service is a plus
- Ability to provide excellent customer service with a solution-oriented approach
- Ability to make positive connections with others
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced work environment, managing multiple priorities while collaborating with teammates
- Passion for coffee and the ever-changing landscape of the coffee world with a thirst to always learn more

Job Duties
- Delivering exceptional customer service to all customers who walk through our doors
- Crafting and serving beverages and food items consistently by adhering to all recipe standards
- Providing knowledgeable and enthusiastic expertise about coffee, tea preparation and products to enhance the customer experience
- Assisting with setup, cleanup, stock work and handling of food items
- Tasting all drip coffee and espresso to ensure it meets Caffe Umbria standards
- Contributing to a positive and supportive work environment
- Attending sponsored local events and networking opportunities
- Participating in ongoing coffee education
