  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Strong interpersonal skills such as customer-service
  • Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions
  • Ability to memorize beverage recipes in a timely manner
  • Ability to learn and problem-solve quickly
  • Some experience in Starbucks, coffee house or F&B preferred
  • Completion of background check as required by Omni Hotels & Resorts

Job Duties

  • Acting with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values, and mission of Starbucks and Omni Hotels & Resorts
  • Contributing to positive team environment by recognizing individual and team accomplishments using Omni Service Champion (OSC) cards
  • Delivering legendary customer service to all guests by acting with a guest comes first attitude and connecting with the customer
  • Anticipating and responding to guests' needs
  • Following Starbucks operational policies and procedures, including Omni policies and procedures for cash handling safety and security
  • Counting bank deposit at end of all assigned register shifts and balancing house bank
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace so that partners can locate resources and product as needed
  • Following all Omni Hotels & Resorts attendance and punctuality standards, as well as Omni / Starbucks uniform and appearance standards
  • Providing quality beverages, whole bean, and food products consistently for all guests by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards
  • Following health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products
  • Attending all monthly store meetings and training sessions
  • Recognizing and embracing Starbucks' commitment to environmental responsibility through recycling, ethical growing, conservation, and green planet practices
