Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum one year customer service experience
- ServSafe Food Handler certification
- ability to work weekends and holidays
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance
- ability to stand or walk for extended periods
- effective communication skills
- ability to operate MICROS system
- previous cash handling experience
- ability to work under pressure
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year of customer service experience
- experience in food, beverage, or retail environment
- previous coffee house or hotel experience preferred
- previous cash handling and face-to-face customer service experience
- ability to accurately input data into MICROS point-of-sale system
- ability to handle stressful situations while maintaining calm and welcoming demeanor
- ability to work cohesively with co-workers
- ability to prioritize, organize, and respond to guest needs quickly
- ServSafe Food Handler certification
- availability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
- physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods
Job Duties
- Communicate effectively with guests and associates
- listen to, understand, and clarify concerns raised by co-workers and guests
- remain professional in all situations
- work well in stressful, high-pressure environments
- adhere to proper uniform and grooming standards
- maintain and clean lobby public areas in coordination with housekeeping
- assist with monthly inventory
- maintain a clean workspace throughout the shift
- follow procedures for accepting credit cards and checks
- maintain a cash bank
- verify guest room numbers for room charges
- interact with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction
- adhere to proper food handling procedures
- operate equipment safely
