Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in customer service or food beverage preferred
- ability to operate coffee machines and turbo chef equipment
- strong communication skills
- reliable and punctual
- ability to perform manual and electronic transactions
- must comply with Hawaii State Department of Health regulations
- willingness to work early mornings and on-call shifts
- ability to lift moderate weight
- excellent customer service orientation
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a customer service or food and beverage role preferred
- knowledge of coffee preparation and beverage service
- ability to handle cash and perform transactions accurately
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to work early morning shifts and maintain a positive attitude
- familiarity with health and safety standards in food service
- capable of training and motivating team members
- self-motivated and proactive
Job Duties
- familiar with beverage (coffee) machine operation
- has complete knowledge of product line
- perform manual and electronic transactions including monies, room charges, credit card, coupons, and hotel issued certificates
- handles cash and makes deposits according to procedures
- attends to all guests needs as requested
- keeps the working area clean
- restocks and keeps inventory of all products
- operates turbo chef properly
- performs duties according to Hawaii State Department of Health sanitation and food safety guidelines
- maintains an attractive food display
- maintains all equipment including microwave, turbo chef, espresso machine, coffee brewer, fountain dispenser
- keeps management informed of incidents during shift
- corrects mistakes and satisfies guests
- keeps counter area clean and neat
- checks entrance area for cleanliness
- trains new barista team members
- proactively seeks ways to improve the outlet
- maintains a positive, can-do attitude
