Job Requirements
- At least two years of progressively responsible café or barista experience
- at least one year of food and beverage service experience
- experience directing the work of others
- valid driver’s license
- approval as a SCAD-authorized driver
- ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily

Job Duties
- Conduct interviews with the general manager
- train, schedule, and supervise work-study students
- maintain adequate supply levels to meet business needs
- perform monthly inventory counts
- fulfill food and beverage supply orders
- oversee merchandising
- ensure the restaurant stays clean, neat, and organized
- filter communications to each shift team under the guidance of the general manager
- foster a positive team environment
- provide support as needed
- assess the café environment and key business indicators to identify issues, concerns, and opportunities for improvement
- provide coaching and guidance to the team to help meet operational goals
- develop and implement policies and procedures
- maintain excellent health inspection scores
- demonstrate fiscal responsibility with an awareness of labor and food costs
- reconcile money and complete orders at the end of each shift
