Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent GED
- one or more years of experience
- must be able to obtain and maintain an Alcohol Beverage Control card and any applicable health certifications
- must be able to comply with all state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a license
- ability to stand for long periods of times without sitting or leaning
- ability to bend, stoop and reach while assisting guests
- ability to carry trash bag weighing up to 25 lbs
- use of stairs and elevators
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent GED
- one or more years of experience as a barista or in a related customer service role
- must be able to obtain and maintain an Alcohol Beverage Control card and any applicable health certifications
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to work effectively as part of a team
- flexibility to work varied shifts
- ability to prepare food and beverages to standard or customized recipes
- experience in high-volume, fast-paced environments preferred
Job Duties
- Act with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values and mission of Live! Casino & Hotel
- maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep store operating to standard and to set a positive example for the shift team
- anticipate customer and store needs by constantly evaluating the environment and customers for cues
- communicate information to the manager so that the team can respond as necessary to create the Third Place environment during each shift
- assist with new partner training by positively reinforcing successful performance and giving respectful and encouraging coaching as needed
- contribute to a positive team environment by recognizing alarms or changes in partner morale and performance and communicating them to the store manager
- deliver legendary customer service to all customers by acting with a customer comes first attitude and connecting with the customer
- follow Live! Casino & Hotel operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety and security, to ensure the safety of all partners during each shift
- maintain a clean and organized workspace so that partners can locate resources and products as needed
- provide quality beverages, whole beans, and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards
- follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products
- recognize and reinforce individual and team accomplishments by using existing organizational methods
- maintain regular and punctual attendance
