Job Duties
- Greets dealership guests and determines the nature of their visit
- Answers basic inquiries and refers more extensive inquiries to the appropriate person
- Directs guests to the correct department, notifies the appropriate salesperson that a customer is waiting, or introduces the customer to a salesperson
- Prepares refreshments served at the café
- Serves customers in a friendly and efficient manner
- Maintains café and lounge area cleanliness
- Ensures enough refreshments are ready to serve
- Ensures loaner vehicles are staged on the service drive and ready for early morning appointments
- Creates loaner agreements and verifies all required customer documents
- Reviews loaner contracts with customers, conducts walk-around inspections for pre-existing damage, reviews fuel levels, and secures proper documentation signatures
- Checks-in vehicles, inspects for new damage, notes mileage, reviews any charges with customers, and properly closes loaner agreements
- Maintains loaner vehicle fleet records including status updates, cleaning, registration, fuel levels, and parking
- Processes insurance claims by coordinating with customers, insurance companies, and collision center for timely repairs
- Notifies the New Vehicle Inventory Manager of accident or damage occurrences for proper legal notices
- Prepares daily status reports for Service Managers
- Reviews loaner statuses and schedules vehicle returns for next-day appointments
- Assists other departments such as Service Drive, Barista, and Boutique when needed
- Completes other assigned duties
- Maintains professional appearance
