Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience as a successful barista
- Previous cash handling experience
- Ability to perform basic math and counting
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to read and communicate in English
- Completion of Food Handling Certification
- Ability to follow dress code requirements
- Physical ability to perform lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and endure extended walking and standing
- Willingness to use required uniforms and personal protective equipment
Job Qualifications
- Experience as a successful barista
- Previous cash handling experience
- Basic math and counting skills
- Experience in a supervisory or related role preferred
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Ability to follow dress code and operate in compliance with company policies
- Effective communication skills in English
- Completion of Food Handling Certification as required
Job Duties
- Greet and assist customers while anticipating their needs
- Prepare and serve coffees, teas, specialty beverages per brand standards
- Prepare and serve food items following location standards
- Train and guide staff in coffee and food preparation, customer service, cash handling, and product knowledge
- Schedule and delegate work assignments and coordinate completion of tasks
- Accurately operate register/POS, handle cash and credit transactions
- Maintain clean and sanitary work areas, stock beverage coolers and service ware
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products
