Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Available to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, and/or nights
- Able to learn quickly and understand and execute oral and written instructions
- Maintains calm demeanor during high volume or unusual events
- Able to handle multiple tasks or projects and meet assigned deadlines
- Strong customer service skills and phone and email etiquette
- Proficient with computer applications such as Microsoft Office
- Acts with integrity, honesty, and promotes university values
- Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- On-the-job training provided
- ServSafe certified (preferred)
- An undergraduate or advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field (preferred)
- Previous experience as a barista in a fast food establishment (preferred)
Job Duties
- Follows university and store operating policies and procedures
- Provides quality beverages and food products according to standard recipes or customized by request
- Engages with customers and responds to customer needs by delivering legendary customer service
- Anticipates customer and store needs by evaluating environment and customers cues
- Communicates information to manager
- Assists with new employee training
- Follows FIFO methods, health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Maintains a clean and organized workspace
