Job Qualifications

  • Previous customer service or food service experience

  • previous barista or café experience preferred
  • food handler certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, smoothies, and other café beverages
  • operate espresso machines, grinders, and other kitchen equipment
  • greet customers, take orders accurately, and handle transactions via POS system
  • ensure a clean and sanitary workspace at all times, including counters, equipment, and seating areas
  • restock inventory, monitor supply levels, and communicate restocking needs
  • follow all health and safety regulations and college food service policies
  • provide prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable service
  • assist with opening and closing duties as assigned
