Job Qualifications

  • Previous customer service or food service experience
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Previous barista or cafe experience preferred
  • Food Handler Certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, smoothies, and other cafe beverages
  • Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other kitchen equipment
  • Greet customers, take orders accurately, and handle transactions via POS system
  • Ensure a clean and sanitary workspace at all times, including counters, equipment, and seating areas
  • Restock inventory, monitor supply levels, and communicate restocking needs
  • Follow all health and safety regulations and college food service policies
  • Provide prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable service
  • Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned
