Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in customer service preferred
- ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- compliance with food safety and alcohol awareness certifications if required by law
- willingness to support team and lead by example
Job Qualifications
- Experience in coffee shop restaurant fast-food venue or hotel and resort is helpful
- knowledge of state or local laws regarding alcohol awareness and food handling certification is a plus
- prior restaurant or cashier experience is helpful
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- basic math and order entry skills
Job Duties
- Greet guests with energy a genuine smile positive body language focused eye contact and in a timely fashion
- have full knowledge of the menu food items specials of the day coffee drinks bakery case items appropriate prices layout of the Resort and its storage closets
- take orders properly and enter them into Micros terminal accurately
- maintain constant communication between other cashiers and baristas on orders
- perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by service station assignment
- provide prompt customer service with quality beverages and products
- maintain a clean and comfortable work environment
