Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to pass pre-employment post offer background check
  • Experience as a barista preferred
  • Can communicate effectively in English
  • Open availability and flexible schedule for demanding hours
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be skilled in using various coffee preparation techniques
  • Must be skilled in operating and maintaining coffee equipment
  • Must showcase great sales and presentational skills
  • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time

Job Duties

  • Ensuring customer satisfaction by catering to guests' needs
  • Take orders while paying attention to details such as preferences of coffee blend, dairy and sugar ratios
  • Providing menu recommendations and additional information
  • Preparing coffee using various preparation techniques and equipment
  • Handling cash and credit transactions
  • Maintaining inventory and managing storage and supplies
  • Maintaining a safe, healthy, and appealing work environment
