Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience
  • Ability to obtain Starbucks Barista Certification within 30 days of employment
  • Basic cash handling skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Availability to work flexible shifts
  • Willingness to participate in safety and compliance training

Job Qualifications

  • Strong customer service skills
  • Basic cash handling and point-of-sale operation experience
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to attend training programs both in classroom and virtual formats

Job Duties

  • Greet customers and take orders for beverages and food items
  • Prepare and serve hot and cold drinks such as coffee, espresso, cappuccino, latte, tea, chai, and fruit blends according to customer specifications
  • Maintain good customer relations and ensure speedy delivery of all orders
  • Arrange and replenish coffee bar supplies and maintain a clean, neat, and sanitary bar area
  • Operate cash registers and process cash, credit card, and electronic payments accurately
  • Attend allergy, foodborne illness, and safety training sessions
  • Participate in regular safety meetings and hazard assessments
  • Receive inventory and assist with moving and lifting foodstuffs and supplies
  • Comply with all company safety, environmental, and infection control policies
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested
