Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Customer service related work experience
- Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation standards, and inventory control systems
- Ability to walk or stand for extended periods, including shifts exceeding 8 hours
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push, pull, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move 50 pounds
- Punctuality and reliable attendance
- Open availability to work any shift
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience
- Customer service related work experience
- Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation standards, and inventory control systems
- Certification as a Starbucks Barista may be required
Job Duties
- Greet all guests and provide quick, friendly, and personalized service
- Mix and serve hot and cold beverages such as coffee, espresso, cappuccino, cafe latte, tea, chai, fruit blend drinks while considering customer specifications
- Maintain good customer relations and ensure speedy delivery of beverages and food items
- Educate guests about menu offerings and initiate suggestive selling
- Arrange coffee bar and cart supplies as well as cups and mugs to create attractive displays
- Clean coffee machines, restaurant, and preparation areas regularly
- Record all sales, collect money, operate a cash register, and follow all cash-handling procedures as required
