Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to obtain Starbucks Barista Certification within 30 days
- effective communication skills
- customer service experience preferred
- ability to operate cash register and manage payments
- capacity to maintain cleanliness and organization
- willingness to attend all required trainings and safety meetings
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience
- certification as Starbucks Barista within 30 days of employment
- ability to provide exceptional customer service
- knowledge of beverage preparation techniques
- basic cash handling skills
- understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to participate in required training sessions
Job Duties
- Greet customers and take orders
- mix and serve hot and cold beverages to customer specifications
- maintain good customer relations and ensure speedy delivery of beverages and food items
- arrange coffee bar/carts and display supplies attractively
- clean coffee machines and preparation areas
- record sales and handle cash, credit card, and electronic payments
- attend allergy, foodborne illness, safety training, and regular safety meetings
- receive inventory and move or lift foodstuffs and supplies
