Job Requirements
- Knowledge of specialty coffee ingredients
- Experience using commercial espresso equipment
- Adherence to safe food handling procedures and sanitation practices
- Knowledge of food preparation and food service skills
- Good customer service skills to manage multiple orders in a busy retail atmosphere
- Ability to provide efficient and friendly service
- Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Register and cash handling experience
- Point of sales (POS) experience
- Two years’ experience in food-service industry
- Barista experience
- Experience working in fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Provide excellent customer service
- Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages including coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees, and tea
- Take accurate orders from customers and relay correct information to appropriate staff
- Operate espresso equipment
- Clean and sanitize work area, utensils, espresso machine and other equipment
- Clean both indoor and outdoor seating areas
- Check on food orders to ensure customer orders are filled in a timely manner
