Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous barista experience preferred
- ability to work full-time Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 4:00 pm
- ability to stand for extended periods
- basic math skills for handling cash and transactions
- must be able to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- legal authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- previous barista experience in a corporate setting preferred
- understanding of HACCP guidelines and food safety standards
- ability to operate POS systems
- strong customer service and communication skills
- knowledge of coffee and espresso preparation
- attention to detail and cleanliness
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- friendly and courteous demeanor
Job Duties
- prepares espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes
- enters orders accurately into POS device
- accepts cash and charge payments
- replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area
- ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures
- follows HACCP standards
- maintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils
- cleans equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving area
- greets customers courteously and interacts to ensure customer satisfaction
- relays relevant concerns from customers to supervisors
- serves customers quickly and efficiently to prevent delays
- demonstrates complete understanding of daily menu items and explains them accurately
- promotes selling techniques to assist customer buying decisions
- ensures all display foods are merchandised attractively
- serves food neatly and attractively per standard
- performs other duties as assigned
