Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Must have availability on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
- Ability to memorize beverage and other recipes and procedures
- Alabama Food Handler's Card required for Mobile County locations
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable attendance
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate effectively through email, phone, and other communication channels
Job Qualifications
- Barista experience is acceptable but not required
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Outgoing and engaging personality
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, team environment
- Ability to communicate through different channels including email, phone, project management software, and conference calls if necessary
- Ability to memorize beverage and other recipes and procedures
- Alabama Food Handler's Card required for Mobile County locations

- Must be reliable, punctual, and dependable in regard to attendance
Job Duties
- Present a positive image of PJ's to customers and coworkers by maintaining the reputation and integrity of the brand
- Proactively suggest new beverages, drink enhancements, snacks, and pastries to improve the overall experience and knowledge of customers
- Prepare all beverages and food in a consistent, fast, efficient, and friendly manner to meet PJ's Coffee specifications and customer satisfaction
- Ensure that the store offers excellent customer service as it pertains to the operation of the staff and the physical upkeep of the store
- Follow cash handling procedures accurately
- Ensure the interior and exterior of the store meet sanitary, safety, and aesthetic requirements by maintaining daily shift checklists and par levels
- Alert management to operational needs, equipment failure, and necessary improvements
- Attend training sessions designed to increase coffee knowledge and work skills and apply that knowledge to operations
