Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience as a barista preferred
- Ability to work full time with variable schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- Must be able to follow HACCP guidelines
- Ability to interact courteously with customers and team members
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks associated with food service
- Ability to adhere to safety and sanitation standards
- Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
Job Qualifications

- Ability to operate POS systems accurately
- Knowledge of HACCP standards

Job Duties
- Prepare espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes
- Enter orders accurately into POS device
- accept cash and charge payments
- Replenish condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area
- Ensure proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures
- follow HACCP standards
- Maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils
- Ensure proper food preparation by using approved recipes and following prescribed production standards
- Keep display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service
- Clean equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving area
- Greet customers courteously and interact in a manner to ensure customer satisfaction
- Relay relevant concerns from customers to supervisors
- Serve customers quickly and efficiently, preventing delays in serving lines
- Demonstrate complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explain them to customers
- Serve as an advocate of selling techniques by establishing good communication and assisting customers in buying decisions
- Ensure all display foods are merchandised attractively per standards
- Serve food neatly and attractively per standard
- Perform other duties as assigned
