Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- ServSafe Food Protection certification
- Ability to work Monday through Friday from 11:00am to 7:30pm
- No weekends or holidays work is required
- Ability to stand for long periods during a shift
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Ability to follow food safety guidelines and procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- ServSafe Food Protection certification
- Experience in customer service or food service preferred
- Basic cash register operation skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Greets customers and takes orders
- processes cash and credit card transactions
- Prepares and serves hot and cold beverages according to Starbucks beverage preparation and service guidelines
- Maintains knowledge of menu items and recipes to effectively service the customer
- Maintains appearance of Bistro or Café ensuring product is stocked to appropriate levels and all areas are properly cleaned and sanitized
- Properly prepares and handles foods and equipment to ensure infection control and safety
- Ensures labeling, dating and freshness of all product before using and follows First In, First Out standards
