Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous barista or related food service experience preferred
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • capable of handling food safely according to HACCP guidelines
  • availability to work full time including early morning shifts
  • ability to operate POS systems
  • legal eligibility to work in the United States
  • willingness to comply with company drug-free workplace policies

Job Qualifications

  • Previous barista experience
  • experience in front of house and back of house roles preferred
  • ability to follow HACCP food safety standards

  • familiarity with POS systems
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work full time schedule

Job Duties

  • Prepare espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes
  • enter orders accurately into POS device and accept payments
  • replenish condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness
  • ensure proper presentation, portion control and serving temperatures following HACCP standards
  • maintain sanitation of all equipment, supplies and utensils
  • use approved recipes and production standards for food preparation
  • keep display equipment clean and free of debris during service
  • clean equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving
  • greet customers courteously and address concerns
  • serve customers quickly and efficiently to avoid delays
  • explain daily menu items accurately to customers
  • use good communication to assist customers in buying decisions
  • ensure all display foods are attractively merchandised and served
  • perform other duties as assigned
