Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous barista experience preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to work Monday through Thursday from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm
- Customer service orientation
- Ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Ability to operate POS and handle cash and credit payments
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- Previous barista experience preferred
- Ability to prepare espresso drinks and related beverages
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Understanding of food safety standards (HACCP)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in a foodservice area
- Ability to work full time Monday through Thursday
Job Duties
- Prepares espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes
- Enters orders accurately into POS device
- accepts cash and charge payments
- Replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area
- Ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures
- follows HACCP standards
- Maintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils
- Ensures proper food preparation by using approved recipes and following prescribed production standards
- Cleans equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area for other assignments
- Greets customers courteously and interacts to ensure customer satisfaction
- Serves customers quickly and efficiently to prevent delays
- Demonstrates a complete understanding of daily menu items and explains them to customers
- Serves food and beverages attractively and per standards
- Performs other duties as assigned
