Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior barista experience required
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to lift and carry moderate weights
- availability to work full-time schedule including varied hours
- basic proficiency with POS devices
- adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
- good communication skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- willingness to work holidays and weekends

Job Duties
- Prepares espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes
- enters orders accurately into POS device
- accepts cash and charge payments
- replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area
- ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures according to HACCP standards
- maintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils
- cleans equipment and workstation thoroughly
- greets customers courteously and ensures customer satisfaction
- serves customers quickly and efficiently to prevent delays
- explains daily menu items accurately to customers
- assists in customer buying decisions by applying selling techniques
- merchandises display foods attractively and serves food neatly per standards
- performs other duties as assigned
