Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous barista experience preferred
- ability to stand for extended periods
- availability to work full-time Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm
- ability to interact courteously with customers
- capacity to maintain cleanliness and organize work area
- basic math skills for cash handling
- compliance with HACCP food safety standards
Job Qualifications
- Previous barista experience preferred
- ability to handle cash and POS transactions accurately
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- customer service skills
- ability to work full-time Monday to Friday
- good communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to follow standard recipes and portion controls
Job Duties
- Prepares espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes
- enters orders accurately into POS device and accepts cash and charge payments
- replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area
- ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures following HACCP standards
- maintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils
- cleans equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area
- greets customers courteously and interacts to ensure customer satisfaction
- serves customers quickly and efficiently to prevent delays in serving lines
- demonstrates a complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explains them to customers
- advocates selling techniques by establishing good communication and assisting in buying decisions
- ensures all display foods are merchandised attractively per standards and serves food neatly and attractively
- performs other duties as assigned
