Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Customer service experience preferred
- Ability to operate espresso machines and grinders or willingness to learn
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment

- Attention to detail and cleanliness
Job Qualifications
- Previous barista experience preferred, but not required
- Passion for coffee and customer service with a friendly and outgoing personality
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, milk steaming, and latte art is a plus
- Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and holidays based on resort operations
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and specialty beverages according to Lava Love’s standards
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service, engaging with guests to ensure a welcoming experience
- Operate coffee-making equipment, grinders, and espresso machines with precision and care
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including counters, equipment, and dining areas
- Assist with stocking, inventory management, and ordering supplies as needed
- Follow health and safety regulations, ensuring food and beverage handling meets all sanitation guidelines
- Accurately process transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system and handle cash and credit card payments
- Promote and upsell Lava Love’s menu items, including seasonal beverages, pastries, and merchandise
- Assist in training new team members and contribute to a positive team culture
- Support resort-wide events and initiatives, providing coffee and beverage service as needed
- Other duties as assigned
