Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior guest service experience preferred
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to work the scheduled shifts including occasional late afternoons
- ability to follow HACCP food safety guidelines
- good communication skills

- basic math skills for handling cash and POS transactions
- ability to follow food safety and hygiene regulations
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- knowledge of coffee and espresso preparation preferred
Job Duties
- Prepares espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes
- enters orders accurately into POS device and accepts cash and charge payments
- replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area
- ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures following HACCP standards
- maintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils
- ensures proper food preparation using approved recipes and prescribed production standards
- keeps display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service
- cleans equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area
- greets customers courteously and ensures customer satisfaction
- serves customers quickly and efficiently to prevent delays
- demonstrates complete understanding of daily menu items and explains them to customers
- advocates selling techniques to customers by establishing good communication and assisting in decision-making
- ensures all display foods are attractively merchandised and served neatly
- performs other duties as assigned
