Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a food service or customer service role preferred
  • Ability to perform physical activities such as prolonged standing and lifting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to follow health and safety guidelines

Job Duties

  • Work on the café floor which requires physical activity such as prolonged standing, repetitive bending, lifting, climbing, and operating espresso machines
  • Deliver the perfect beverage that exceeds customer expectations by engaging, building rapport, listening, and providing friendly, fast service
  • Make relevant beverage and food recommendations ensuring an engaging experience with the customers that connects them with the right products
  • Ensure that the café is welcoming to all customers by maintaining a stocked bake case and neatly displayed merchandise
  • Take pride in the café by ensuring cleanliness and tidiness encompassing all aspects of the customer experience
  • Execute operational standards correctly, timely, and in accordance with café standards, safety, and health codes
  • Protect company assets by adhering to processes and controlling waste and shrink
  • Recognize and offer assistance to both customers and employees with urgency and care
