Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- six months previous experience in the beverage service industry
- ability to prepare and serve coffee beverages safely
- proficiency with point-of-sale and payment systems
- knowledge of food and beverage sanitation
- ability to read and interpret various forms of instructions
- pass background check
- pass drug screening
- obtain Oklahoma food handler card
- regular attendance
- flexibility to work varying schedules including weekends, holidays, and peak events
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- six months previous experience working in the beverage service industry with preference to barista experience
- knowledge, skill, and ability to safely prepare and serve coffee beverages according to internal policies and standards
- ability to work with point-of-sale systems, dispensing systems, credit card and Player's Club card systems
- understanding of food and beverage sanitation and cash control practices
- ability to read and interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Job Duties
- Portray a positive attitude under all circumstances
- understand and represent the core values of Apache Casino Hotel and live the mission of always providing exceptional service
- prepare and serve brewed coffee and mixed coffee drinks like cappuccino and espresso and kiosk food items according to established recipes and procedures
- notify appropriate team members when assistance is necessary
- retrieve, prepare and stock coffee kiosk food items
- ensure kiosk area is maintained in a neat, clean, and sanitary manner using approved cleaning agents, sanitation regulations and department procedures
- accept cash, credit cards, or complimentary vouchers as payment
- demonstrate an upbeat and outgoing demeanor while on duty
- perform other related duties as may be assigned by reporting supervisor, including cross training
- understand and comply with the Eye, Hi, Goodbye program
- maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
- actively listen when talking with guests and team members
- demonstrate a high level of service delivery to ensure guest and team member satisfaction
- handle service failures and prioritize guest and team member needs
- prepare for known problems and opportunities in advance
- use tact, maintain confidences, and foster an ethical work environment
- adapt behavior to others' styles and interact with people of diverse backgrounds
- share credit with team members and promote teamwork
- operate various types of equipment such as espresso machines and point of sale systems
- comply with casino policies and applicable regulations
